1976 → 2026 / THE APPLE ARCHIVE
Small beginnings.
A remarkable product story.
From the Apple I circuit board to pocket computers, tablets and modern Macs. Explore the hardware, the years and the ideas that shaped Apple.
What this archive covers
This edition combines Apple’s model-identification lists with a historical hardware cross-reference, beginning with the Apple I in 1976. It covers major product generations, many distinct hardware revisions, and a selection of peripherals. It is not an exhaustive inventory of every SKU, colour, storage capacity, regional variant, software release or accessory. Exact product photos, family photographs and category illustrations are distinguished on the cards and detail pages.
Research snapshot: October 5, 2026. New announcements are not automatically added. Some product families combine case materials, connectivity variants or processor options; historical entries can identify a distinct revision.
Pictures
Photos are served locally as small, lazy-loaded images to keep category pages light. Each entry links to its reference and original image credit. A family-level illustration is labelled when it is not an exact configuration photograph. Entries awaiting an image are marked explicitly.
